The Medibank Australia was founded by the Australian government in 1976, as the Medibank is a largest private health insurer in Australia. The government believes now it’s time for them to move forward and privatise the Medibank at the end of this financial year or next financial year. The reasons why the government is privatising Medibank, is to retain the service and excellence of stages of Medibank clients, ensure the sale development treats medibank workers in a decent manner, as well as to reduce any problems sole over the post years, such as liabilities of the government. Thus, it will help the government by bringing more powers within the business of private health insurance, by competing with others country.
Moreover, privatising Medibank will bring great values and health result to all the residents in Australia. On one hand, the government will still put a massive useful, virtuous and viable for the private health insurance business (Medibank. 2014). This essay will examine the goods and service that privatization provides and why the Australian government should privatise the Medibank
One of the good reason why the Australian government should privatise the Medibank to the business owner, is since that public sector works are undertaken to meet the needs of community whereby the private sector works are more straightforward with a massive focusing on achieving the prospects of profit. By selling the Medibank to the private sector, means the Australian government will be able to receive profit from it which could help those residents in need as well as supporting the states with 15 percent of payments to help the Australian government with a new equipment that they required, instance building roads, education and new...
